The cost of religion is much greater than the cost of not having religion. If there was no religion there would be no suicide bombers, no crazy terrorists, no crusades, and no Spanish inquisition. 90% of the time people think god is talking to them but hes not, its an hallucination and 10% of the time they are just lying about ever speaking to a/many god/s.
