It was the power of the Holy Spirit that is being seen in a physical way in this video. God is manifesting His Spirit and what a wonderful Saint is Todd Bentley. He is doing the work of Jesus. If you ever have experienced the power of the Holy Spirit in that magnitude then you know what it is like to be literally overcome. Each and every one of us have our own style and personality. The definition of Bam to Todd means many things including “B-Believing the words I “AM”= “BAM”
“I Am = The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost.”
Yours in Christ Jesus, Esta Ann
So Esta, I can do anything I want and claim it is what God wants me to do? I can punch people in the stomach or knee cancer patients in the stomach and tell them it is what God wants me to do and that is ok?
Esta Ann, you are very much mistaken. Please read Acts 2:38 and the rest of the book of Acts. There is only ONE way for us to be baptized, and ONE way for us to be saved. Baptism must be by immersion (every inch of our body must be under water at least for a second), and whoever is doing the baptizing must invoke the name of Jesus over the person being baptized — not His titles, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, but His NAME. This is the fulfillment of Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19.
There are many false prophets and false teachers in the world today, of whom the Bible warns us to be aware.
What I just saw is NOT from God!!! It was pure chasos!!! In 1cor it says that the church is to do everything in decent and orderly. That is out of order. I am sorry Esta Todd IS a false prophet!!! I don’t care what he looks like I care what comes out of his mouth!! I have seen first hand what these so call faith healers can do. Our church had Randy Clark and what he left behind was confusion and mockery of God’s word. I also saw Rodney Howard Browne. that laughter stuff is fake. Try it sometime Laughter is contgaious Please everyone out there who support these kind of men research them and DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR CHURCH!!!! we are truly living in the last days!!! Lord protect us from this. God Bless!!
Thanks for the great blog!
Truth must be preached in this time! There is so much crap in the christian world. Thank you that you want to serve Him, for posting great movies and messages. Todd is also coming to the Netherlands were I live, so it is important to show people what’s the thruth and what’s not. Thanks again, your borther in Christ.
The Almighty God is a HOLY GOD – there is nothing holy, pure or dignified in that Florida baptism. It is appalling that people have the audacity to dare to bring disrespect to His Name. One of the wonders of the Bible is that it does not contradict itself – Loosing total control of oneself as is seen in the so-called “revival” where people flop around in exactly the same fashion as they do in witchdocter sessions in Africa, contradicts all the instructions for us to have the fruit of the Spirit – one of which is SELF CONTROL !!
From every baptism I read in Acts, or Jesus’ baptism, and among baptisms I have seen Jesus was always the center of it. Not just in word, “…baptize you in the Name of Jesus Christ” or “in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” but also knowing you’re doing this for reason Jesus taught it. The scriptures teach it. But this time all the attention is on “BAM!” SHAKE rattle and roll, and whatever physical manifestation there is.
Besides that, what is the long term affect on a person’s life AFTER the laughter, wild shaking, animal noises from past revivals that it connected with this one, from all of these manifestions WHAT IS THE LONG TERM RESULT? What Rebecca wrote above my post says a lot.
I also have experienced God’s power after I sought Him on His terms and in the Word and in prayer. And finally obedience to what He revealed to me. God’s power outside of church, outside of all the music, outside of the crowd like atmosphere. And always the Holy Spirit was leads and guides us in the Word as we choose to abide in Christ. It’s very simple, but people who go to hyper-“charismatic” (not all of them are like this) churches are not taught to have any depth in the Word. They don’t know it. If the pastor reads at all from the scriptures it’s only one or two verses and goes off on his own ideas and agenda.
So sad that christians are being taken in by this guy. We need to pray for those involved and trust that God is sovereignly working out his purposes for his own glory.
I can’t help thinking that this is what people really want, so God is allowing them to have it, perhaps to show them and us all that it is ultimately shallow and a pale imitation for what a transformed life in Christ really looks like.
